Who We Support

The University of Kansas

The Solon E. Summerfield Foundation’s relationship with the University of Kansas (KU) has remained strong since Mr. Summerfield endowed the Summerfield Scholars program in 1929. The program provides merit-based scholarships to ”enable deserving boys to go through the full four-year course at the University.”

Beyond the Summerfield Scholars program, SESF has also provided funding to various KU initiatives to support students over the years.
